Wedding venues

The wedding venue for the actual wedding ceremony is based on several factors. The number of people expected, the budget, the geographic area and the type of services required. When planning the wedding venue we always tend to imagine it on a fine, warm summer day and people walking around perfect lawns, sipping champagne. A marquee could be a good compromise - you have the outdoor atmosphere, but you also have a roof over your head if it rains and if it is a particularly cold day there is a facility for having warm air blown in.
Many couples feel obliged to have a church or registry office wedding followed by a reception at another venue, whilst others prefer to have a service and reception in the same location - which of course must be licenced in order to host ceremonies. Some wedding venues venues are very neutral in style, which can make things easy, but others will already have fairly intense color schemes or decor in place, which can be more difficult to work around
